Offers help from health, social services and child development professionals. Home visits may include: - Supporting preventive health and prenatal practices; - Assisting mothers on how to best breastfeed and care for their babies; - Promoting parents' use of positive parenting techniques; and - Working with parents to set goals for the future, continuing their education, and find employment and childcare solutions. Provides a coordinated, community-based infrastructure that promotes trans-disciplinary, family centered services for expectant parents, newborns, infants, toddlers and their families. Help Me Grow provides the following services: - Identifies children with or at risk for developmental delays or disabilities. - Provides screenings for health, hearing, vision and development. - Provides parents with information about their child’s social and emotional development that lays the foundation for later school success. - Assures parents have information on the importance of early childhood health, nutrition, and literacy. - Connects children at age three with appropriate preschool services. Program administered by Lorain County Children and Families Council. In Lorain County, Catholic Charities also is a participating service coordination agency.

Provides behavior training, transition training, developmental screenings and specialized workshops on early childhood issues.

Offers periodic Infant-toddler developmental screenings for children age 0-2 who are suspected of having a problem in hearing, language, learning, social-emotional, or motor skills. Screening takes about one hour.

Children 6 and under experiencing challenges such as: behavioral concerns, including disruuptive or aggressive behaviors, attention and hyperactivity issues, trauma, developmental issues such as autism or pervasive develomental disorders, and attachment problems.
