The West Central Ohio Comprehensive Sickle Cell Center is funded by a grant from the Ohio epartment of Health, Continuing, coordinated, and comprehensive care is provided to children and adiults with sickle cell disease, sickle cell trait and other hemoglobinopathies in a 17 county service area. The center is part of the hematology department at Dayton Children's Hospital.

Provides health screening services such as blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, lead poisoning, sickle cell, and tuberculosis.
