Provides vision screenings for preschool age children.

Purpose is to foster a partnership between the schools and families in the community. To increase the number of children coming to school healthy and ready to learn. They also strive to empower families with the tools they need to maintain optimum health and access to appropriate health services. May provide on-site vision screenings for any person 5 and older, as staffing and volunteers allow. Must coordinate with the area director. Offers full pediatric office visits for well and sick care. Provide an array of services for children including physical exams, immunizations, vision, hearing testing, developmental screening, autism screening, nutrition screening, dental assessment, referral information, social services assesments. Also offer car seats when available.

Provides a free eye clinic staffed by volunteer ophthalmologist for adults. Offers thorough screenings (ie. for cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy).

Offers free comprehensive eye exams and glasses to uninsured and under-insured population in Ohio. Services include vision care education, eye examinations, eyeglasses and ophthalmological resources to eligible adults and children.

Hosting a health fair including free eye exams, physicals including blood pressure check, glucose screening, cholesterol screening, HIV testing, and Hepatitis C testing. Services provided by Northeast Ohio Medical University medical students.

Health Assessments conducted by Registered Nurses from Rambo are offered throughout the year at various senior center locations. A variety of assessments are available.

Students in the Optical Technology program work with a local optometrist to provide eye exams and glasses for those in need.

Specially tuned receivers are provided free of charge to qualified listeners. Staff and volunteers read newspapers, periodicals and host talk shows so that individuals who are sight impaired have access to news and entertainment. Provides short-term medical services to uninsured or underinsured children. Services include treatment for acute illnesses and short-term illnesses, vision screening, lab tests/X-rays, and referrals.

Offers immunization clinics, as well as satellite immunization clinics; childbirth education classes; nursing services that include blood pressure checks, blood sugar checks, and pregnancy testing; health education programs; STD clinics; anonymous and confidential HIV testing; breast pump rentals; breast feeding consultations by certified lactation specialists; flu shots during the fall.

Provides vision screenings for groups, organizations, and businesses that wish to offer vision screenings to their members, employees or the public. Vision screenings detect problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration.

Provides comprehensive vision care to uninsured and underinsured children and adults in Ohio who qualify for the Prevent Blindness program.
