The trauma center is not an emergency department but an accredited facility capable of highly-specialized, timely treatment for the most critical of injuries. Survival rate and better recovery dramatically increase when patients with trauma-related injuries are treated at a trauma center as quickly as possible.

A 731-bed facility which provides full inpatient services including obstetrics, labor/delivery, nursery, pediatrics, pediatric and adolescent comprehensive care, medicine, oncology/family medicine, rehab medicine, surgery, psychiatry (also see separate group for Adult Inpatient Psychiatric Services), trauma, orthopedics, emergency room, a burn center, coronary intensive care, medical intensive care, surgical intensive care, medical records, physician referrals, and neonatal and pediatric intensive care.

Known as a Level II Trauma Center, equipped to treat the most severe life-and-limb threatening injuries. Services include a chest pain division where physicians are trained to recognize warnings signs and determine the true cause of the chest pains.
Provides emergency room services. Offers urgent care services such as treatment for minor illnesses and injuries, certain types of physicals, and some medical testing.
Provides emergency care for acute conditions and life-threatening injuries. Specialties include chest pain and trauma care. Provides a Level II trauma unit.
