Red Cross offers an array of community education including first aid/ CPR, AED, HIV/AIDS facts, Baby sitter training, blood borne pathogens, and sport safety training. May offer free smoke alarms as well as testing existing alarms and providing home fire preparedness training.

Provides full fire services for the City of Bedford Heights. Offers blood pressure screening. Teaches CPR classes upon request for companies or community groups. Provides fire prevention brochures when available. Provides smoke detectors to low income residents in need of one when available.

Does fire and rescue response, emergency medical response, safety education, CPR classes, fire inspections, smoke detector give away program and fire extinguisher classes. Provides 9-1-1 EMS calls for the area.

Providing smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors installed by the fire department.

Provides a home safety modification program to help prevent falls and other safety-related incidents. Provides repair and materials to enhance safety, including smoke detectors (will be referred to local fire department first), grab bars, hand rails, and easily visible house numbers. Individuals could also qualify for the another rehabilitation program with agency.

Provides free furnace inspections and cleaning, consumer education, and (in some cases), a possible furnace/hot water tank replacement. Installs carbon monoxide detectors. Clients will be connected to all other energy efficiency/weatherization programs offered by this agency.

Provides fire prevention and protection services for the City of Shaker Heights. Offers a CO detector for loan, and provides photoelectric smoke detectors. Will speak about fire prevention and safety, assist with fire escape planning, and conduct a home safety assessment. Provides fire safety education through the use of a mobile fire safety house.

Provides fire fighting and rescue operations for the City of Euclid. Provides smoke detectors and/or batteries to eligible residents who own their homes and will install detectors, and also replace batteries if necessary, in the home.

Provides smoke alarms and batteries. Smoke alarms are inspected and installed by trained Red Cross volunteers.

Provides fire services for the residents and businesses of Bedford. Provides smoke detectors and batteries, offers blood pressure screening, CPR and AED training, carbon monoxide checks, fire extinguisher classes, fire safety inspections, car seat inspections and fire prevention information.

Provides new smoke alarms for persons who don't have a working smoke alarm in their home or an alarm that is older than five years old. The smoke alarm is a sealed unit that will last for up to ten years. If a hard of hearing person is in home, red cross will provide one hard of hearing unit. Red Cross will install new units.

Provides free smoke alarms and batteries. Smoke alarms will be inspected and installed by trained Red Cross volunteers at no cost to residents.

Provides fire prevention and protection services. Also provides periodic CPR classes, and will do carbon monoxide testing, smoke detector checks and home safety inspections as requested. Provides smoke detectors and will change batteries for those who cannot do it by themselves.

If you need a smoke detector please contact any department member or stop by the station. They are free as part of Project Safe, one per household, and we would like for everyone to have at least one in their home. The department will assist you in filling out the form and answer any questions that you may have and remember to check your smoke detectors once a month and to change the batteries in them twice a year.

Qualified law enforcement officers, firefighters, aging-service professionals, and occupational therapy student interns will collaborate to conduct the safety inspections, and provide information and free safety equipment (such as smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers, bathmats, nightlights, flashlights, etc.) for the client to consider that may reduce household hazards, decrease safety risks, and help the client be safe in their home.

Provides fire fighting and rescue operations for the City of Euclid. Provides smoke detectors and/or batteries to eligible residents who own their homes and will install detectors, and also replace batteries if necessary, in the home.

Provides 1 free smoke detector and a 1-time smoke detector replacement battery to residents of Warrensville Heights.

Provides fire department and EMS ambulance transport. Will come out and check homes for carbon monoxide gas. Does not provide detectors, but will install a homeowner's unit free of charge. Administers the Senior Citizen Smoke Detector Program, installing a free, new smoke detector for seniors age 62 and older. Will also return to replace batteries and make sure all detectors are working. Non-emergency activities include fire safety demonstrations and fire code inspections of public buildings. Also provides green reflective house number signs, free of charge, to all Springfield Township/Ontario residents.

Provides and installs free smoke detectors and education. Will assist the households in determining an escape plan in case of a fire. Does not supply smoke alarms to landlords for their rental property.

Provides fire prevention and protection services for the residents of North Randall Village. Also provides smoke detectors to eligible residents, and carbon monoxide testing.
