Program will make residents aware of potential fall hazards – like tripping on throw rugs or falling off step stools. The majority of falls happen to seniors living independently in their own homes – so being able to impact their safety while in their homes will potentially help prevent traumatic injuries. Community members who have their homes inspected will be eligible for one grab bar installed or one nightlight, free of charge.
