Participants learn to view falls and fear of falling as controllable, set realistic goals for increasing activity, make changes to reduce fall risks at home, and are encouraged to exercise to increase strength and balance.

Topics include, but not limited to, infant and child care, basic first aid, rescue skills, injury prevention, behavior management, and nurturing techniques.
