This in-person course, which takes about 6 hours, teaches the same topics as the online babysitter training class, plus it offers hands-on skills practice and additional training in first aid. You can also sign up for Babysitter’s Training with Pediatric First Aid/CPR, which takes about 9 ½ hours and also offers a 2-year certification in Pediatric First Aid/CPR. A digital certificate is available upon successful completion of this course. Free Ohio Identification Card (ID) for Ohio residents 17 years old or older. Ohioans who are under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or a guardian. Can not already hold a valid driver license. Driver License holders can, however, choose to downgrade to a State ID. State IDs are also available for Ohioans who are 16 years and younger for a fee. Permanent and irreversibly disabled Ohioans who are 16 or younger are eligible for a no fee ID (BMV 5755 is required).

The Licking County Sheriff’s Deputies will operate a CarFit drive-through for older adult participants to ensure their vehicle is best “fit” for maximum comfort and safety. Participants are also encouraged to bring any car seats they currently have in use to ensure they are properly installed for the safety of the youngest members of the family. This free CarFit check takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. All participants can look forward to be entered into a drawing for a 1 year AAA membership, and a complimentary bagged lunch.
Technicians provide child car seat installations and inspections. Allow 40 minutes for appointment.
