Family must come to Board of Health office to pick up Pack N Play and receive instruction on proper assembly and use before taking Pack N Play home.

Offers a program to review bicycle safety education as it applies to older adults. Class and discussion are included as well as a demonstration of types of bicycles accessible to this population.
Provides inspection of vehicles to determine compliance with state law regarding safe condition for operation upon the roadway. Certified inspection officers perform checks of all vehicle safety features, including lights, wipers, horn, turn signals, glass, brakes, etc. Upon passing inspection, vehicle owner will be provided a completed Kentucky Application for Certificate of Title/Registration Form which may be taken to the County Clerk to obtain a Kentucky license plate.

Provides a grant between $ 2,500-$5,500 to City of Lakewood homeowners and residents for exterior paint, supplies and labor to paint their home. Participants will be educated on lead safety issues. Property will be inspected by the agency (not a Building Dept. inspection) prior to approval, after prep work for the painting is done, and after work is completed. Amount of grant will be limited to amount of painting required as well as income guidelines.
