Provides services for clients to find gainful employment or training. Specific services include: counseling and planning, mobility training, personal and work adjustment training, vocational training (including small business development), training supplies and books, artificial limbs, braces, eyeglasses, hearing aids, psychotherapy, student financial aid to attend post-secondary classes, physical therapy, wheelchairs (if needed for work) occupational supplies, placement, and follow-up on the job. Clients accepted in the program develop a plan for employment with a staff counselor that they meet with periodically during a specified time for follow-up. Services are time-limited. Services include transitional assistance from school to work or college for students who are graduating from high school.

Allows students to borrow funding to assist with meeting their financial needs while attending higher education. Federal student loans are offered at a fixed interest rate and repayment of amount borrowed (plus interest) is typically not required until after the student has completed school.

South Community Inc. provides a continuum of services within the school-based programs that spans from prevention to intensive special education services. All services within the school-based programs are provided on site in education-based settings throughout Montgomery and Preble counties in South Central Ohio. Students in these programs have access to quality evidence strength-based programming and highly trained staff. This includes care coordination through case management, prevention services, mental health therapy and psychiatric services. In addition, every district has access to crisis support and a crisis debriefing intervention team in the event of a catastrophic event in their district as a part of their emergency preparedness planning with our agency.

Comprehensive Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Treatment
Provides reading tutoring to help students prepare for the Third Grade Reading Guarantee diagnostic test. Students also receive free healthy, nutritous bagged meals.
Provides recreational, physical fitness, arts, and structured educational programming for residents, using neighborhood school facilities. Programs may include use of gymnasium, swimming pool, track, instruction in sports, arts and crafts, games, and drill teams. Computer classes are available at one site, and computers are available to use at two sites. Participants typically help to determine programming for each site. Programs are often staffed by school personnel.
