Provides education in Career Development Programs: Phlebotomy, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Nurse Aide Program, Pharmacy Technician, Information Technology, Construction Technologies and Welding Technology. Career Enhancement Classes: Applied Math and Blueprint Reading; Inspection, Troubleshooting, and Precision Tools; OSHA; Forklift Training; Healthcare Provider CPR/AED and First Aid. Program offers paid tuition, fees, and books for qualified applicants who will earn an associate degree in Corrections. Program focus is minority person.

Provides career-technical training for both high school students and adults in Lorain County. Specialized training programs include Building Trades, llied Healthcare, Culinary, Cosmetology, Manufacturing/Pre-Engineering, Welding, and Transportation.

Provides career and vocational assessment and counseling for unemployed or underemployed individuals looking for a career change. Also offers assistance with resume-writing, interviewing skills, and job search activities.

Provides career/technical education programs to high school students enrolled in participating school districts. Special admissions programs are also available, providing classes for students with special needs. Provides job search assistance to students and alumni. Upon graduation, provides "Career Portfolio" that includes a resume, references, grade and attendance records, and a list of career-technical competencies achieved in students' training.

Offers vocational development program for high school students with emotional and social barriers to employment. Program helps students make successful transitions from school to work through career exploration activities and assistance in securing and retaining employment.

Provides full-time career preparation programs, includes skill training in: machine technology, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning, office technologies, health care, welding, medical office specialist, electrical wiring and criminal justice.

Provides a work-study program for eligible students. Students attend regular classes as scheduled as well as working at an on-the-job assignment for the remainder of the day (or on weekends) as scheduled. Credit is given for both academic and work performance. The minimum work commitment is 5 days, 15hrs. each week.

Offers State Tested Nursing Assistant Program, Medication Aide Program, American Heart BLS CPR/First Aide classes, and MRDD Medication Certification.
