Assists with the development, implementation and monitoring of a formal education plan for children age 3 through 22 and an Individual Service Plan (ISP) for adults.

A Parent Mentor is a parent of a child with disabilities employed by the region to provide other parents and the school district with information, training and support. Attends meetings including special education plan development (IEP meetings) at the request of the parent or school district.
