Provides curriculum development, special education and auxiliary support services, technical assistance and operational support, school improvement assistance, early childhood education, gifted education, personnel assistance and professional development as well as student attendance services.
Provides educational services for children with developmental disabilities. Services include direct contracted services such as speech therapists and more indirect services such as support, information and professional development.
Provides early intervention to prevent or reduce the effects of conditions which put children at risk for school failure. The program serves children 3 -5 years of age who are identified as a preschool child with a disability.

Provides a year-round public school education for students with autism and related disorders, using ABA behavior modification, verbal behavior approach teaching, speech therapy, occupational therapy and individual programming.

Provides a publicly-funded charter school that offers year-round educational services to students with autism in an environment that fosters acceptance, trust and success. Services include individualized student lessons, speech and occupational therapy, social skills training, vocational skills training, adapted aquatic program, and iPads and sensory integration.
Provides children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and behavior challenges a foundation of educational skills that enhance the child's success in a variety of community based environments. Offers classrooms for preschool, Kindergarten through 3rd grades, and 4th through 8th grades with highly trained staff, IEP driven, positive behavior support, specialized and integrated therapy services, art and music, expanded social/play experiences, emphasis on age appropriate social skills, blended methodology, one-on-one instruction, small and large group instruction, and low teacher/student ratio.
Provides a specialized educational placement option for students ages 3 to 22 with physical, learning or other disabilities including Autism. Provides a functional life skills curriculum, therapies and support services as prescribed in Individual Education Plans (IEPs) developed by the student's school district of residence.

Public Special Schools
Provides an alternative school for students in grades Kindergarten through 12th that offers enhanced support for children with emotional or behavioral needs.
For children 3 to 5 years of age Fairway School offers preschool. The classes are an integrated program with students with special needs and students who are typically developing. Students who qualify for special needs services receive preschool services free. Students who are typically developing will be charged tuition. Tuition is based upon the income of the family utilizing a sliding scale. The preschool program follows Ohio Department of Education Early Learning Content Standards, rules and regulations, and Creative Curriculum. Our teachers have a minimum of a 4 year degree and are certified by the Ohio Department of Education to teach preschool. Each classroom has an assistant teacher who has their paraprofessional certification from the Ohio Department of Education. The standard student/adult ratio in our classrooms is 16 to 3. Identified students also receive the benefit of ancillary services, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and adaptive physical education. All day programs are offered on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at Fairway between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Breakfast is provided daily to the students at no cost. Lunch is also available to be purchased. Food is prepared through Bucyrus City Schools Food Service. Students may also pack their lunch if they wish. Students are required to rest for one hour per day on their individual cots. Transportation is provided by Ohio Specialty Services (OSS). Students that are on an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) receive this service at no charge. Typically developing students are charged on a sliding scale. Each bus has an aide to ride along to assist the driver. If desired, parents may choose to provide transportation for their child.
