Marietta College offers more than 40 undergraduate majors. Programs include leadership, petroleum engineering, fine arts, sciences, athletic training, education and journalism. Normal admission to the College is open to anyone who is a high school graduate or the equivalent, completes the enrollment procedures and pays the fees for admission. A regional campus of Ohio University offering predominately the first two years of general studies. Selected upper divisions and graduate courses, associate degrees in Nursing and Electronic Media and bachelors degrees in Communications in the Human Services, Business Administration, Nursing, Criminal Justice, Education, Organizational Communication, and Specialized Studies. Approximately 1300 students commute to the 180 acre site with a library, learning resources, a classroom facility, and physical education building and a campus center.

OSU Newark Campus offers bachelor’s degree programs in education, nursing (RN to BSN), general business, English, history and psychology. Students can also complete master’s degrees in Early/Middle Childhood (M.Ed.) and in Integrated Teaching and Learning (M.A.), and can complete most of the coursework necessary for a master’s degree in social work (M.A.). For other Ohio State degree programs, students can complete many of the course requirements here in Newark and then transfer to the main campus in Columbus, Ohio. The Fisher College of Business gives juniors and seniors the option of taking classes online or during the evening.

Many degrees can be earned entirely at Ohio State Marion, including Biology, English, RN to BSN, Business, History, Social Work, Education, Psychology and Associate of Arts.

Hocking College is a two year technical college which focuses on hands-on learning for students.

Offers post-secondary education with a focus on the liberal arts, social sciences and the natural sciences.
