Depending on eligibility, may provide legal assistance in responding to an eviction notice from the local housing court. Service may include a court appearance and/or negotiation with a landlord.
Assists families who are behind in their rent or mortgage to remain in their homes and regain financial stability, as well as security deposit assistance for families in transition. Services vary based on the needs of the individual family, but can include mediation and rent/mortgage payment negotiation with landlord/lender, help accessing utility payment assistance programs, and financial counseling. Up to $1500 in assistance may be available. Support for school-aged children in the household may include access to low-cost computers (funding for computers is currently out). Will also assist with property tax payment to remain in their homes and regain financial stability.

Provides housing assistance, case management and assistance with obtaining benefits under the federal veteran-serving agency, landlord/tenant assistance, and other appropriate community benefits and services. If needed, will provide rental deposit and rent payments. Once rent and/or security deposit is granted, agency may provide additional assistance such as: transportation (bus fare, car repair, car payment), utilities payment and/or deposit (gas, electric, water only), storage and moving costs, and household supplies.
