Fair Housing Program provides information and assists in the resolution of tenant landlord issues in the county.
Provides information and training to residents regarding landlord/tenant concerns and fair housing laws which prohibit discrimination because of race, color, religion, nationality, sex, handicap, family status, or military status.
Provides information and guidance about housing rights and Ohio tenant-landlord law for tenants experiencing difficulty maintaining their rental housing. Also offers advice regarding particular tenant-landlord disputes and advocates on tenants' behalves with their landlords when appropriate. Note: Housing placement/relocation assistance is not available.
Provides high quality, legal assistance in civil matters to help eligible low-income individuals in western Ohio achieves self-reliance, economic opportunity and equality justice.

Handles cases in which the amount of money in dispute does not exceed $15,000.00, complaints involving landlord tenant disputes, evictions, rents, escrows, garnishes, and appeals to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles are filed with this division
Program provides Eviction Prevention Tenant/Landlord Dispute Resolution Services and free Tenant Eviction Prevention Education Workshops for tenants. Note: if resident is behind on rent and is at risk of eviction, this program will help link tenant to emergency rental assistance in the community and help them problem solve with their landlord so they may get caught up on back rent and maintain their current housing. Program also offers a 2.5-hour free Eviction Prevention Workshops (via Zoom) for tenants to learn how to avoid risk of eviction in the future. Tenants may register for workshops on Event Brite.
