Freedom Food Pantry Program provides fresh foods and non-perishables to veterans. The Outreach Program Works with veterans to help them find employment either through outside employers or agencies they are associated with or through the Outreach Program. Provide support to other agencies that work to enhance veterans lives. Assist WWII veterans and their families with registration for the National WWII Memorial.

Assists veterans who are attempting to obtain or are receiving benefits from the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs. Provide temporary financial assistance to honorably discharged veterans, spouse or qualified dependents in need. Transportation for eligible veterans to and from medical appointments at the Cleveland VA Medical Center and the Youngstown VA Clinic.

Provides markers and flags for the grave of each veteran of Licking County. Each cemetery handles the placement of the flags and markers independently. Please contact the cemetery to find out what their policy is. The Veterans' Service Office will provide a flag and marker to family members who wish to mark the grave themselves. If a veteran is buried in a private cemetery, the VA will provide a headstone or marker.

Provides information, counseling and claims service to all honorably discharged veterans and their dependents concerning disability compensation, hospitalization, rehabilitation, pension, education, employment, and other benefits.

Provides veterans with assistance in applying for various social services. Benefits include education, loans, burial services, pensions, health care, and more.

Service officers can assist the veteran or their dependent in filing for the following VA benefits: service-connected compensation, non-service connected disability pension, survivor's pension, death and burial benefits, VA healthcare enrollment, headstones, education, home loan guarantee certificates, vocational rehabilitation, upgrading or correcting DD form 214's, and any other benefits available from federal or state sources. The service officers will monitor claims once they are filed and will follow through with assistance on appeals when necessary.
Provides supportive services to low-income Veteran families or Veteran's and their families who are experiencing housing instability or imminent homelessness. Offers a range of supportive services designed to promote housing stability. Provides eligible Veteran families with case management, and assistance in obtaining VA and other benefits.

Provides assistance to Veterans in filing claims for benefits with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs. Assistance by state accredited county Veteran service officers with application process, preparation of forms and paperwork, obtaining necessary documentation and submission of claims.
Provides Veterans and their dependents United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) accredited Veterans Service Officers (VSOs) to assist them in understanding VA benefits and in filing claims. Provides services such as explaining benefits, filling out forms, forwarding claims for processing and representing Veterans in appeals. Provides case management to Veterans, helping them screen and file for federal, state and county veterans' benefits. Callers will be referred to the county Job and Family Services office for assistance with unemployment forms.
Provides accredited service officers who know the requirements of the Department of Veterans Affairs compensation and pension programs, and who will assist Veterans to complete paperwork and obtain the benefits to which they are entitled. Will aid with the preparation of forms, documentation of claims, proper submission of claims to VA and other follow-up agencies, and obtaining records (military and medical).
