Provides support and advocacy for victims of domestic violence or sexual assault in health care settings and the justice system for those with hearing loss.

Victim Witness Services | Greene County Prosecutor'S Office

Offers 24 hour response to hospital, police, and personal request for assistance in cases of felony crime with specialized services for sexual assault and child sexual abuse victims and homicide survivors. Provides short term crisis counseling for crime victims and witnesses regardless of intent to pursue criminal prosecution; personal advocacy and court escort during all stages of the police investigation and criminal justice process; case status notification for felony level prosecution pending in Greene County Common Pleas Court and Greene County Juvenile Court. Confidential referrals within a large resource network, to any appropriate medical, counseling, or social service agency. Also provides assistance to persons applying for financial reimbursement through the Ohio Victims of Crime Compensation Program.

Victim Services | Cleveland Rape Crisis Center

Provides support, assistance and legal education to survivors of rape, sexual assault or sexual abuse when survivors choose to prosecute the offenders. Explains the legal aspects of rape and assault (but does not give legal advice), facilitates communication between client and other parties such as police and the courts, helps clients write Victim Impact Statements, and assists with dealing with the Ohio Parole Board. Helps clients access programs for victims of crimes in the State of Ohio and makes referrals to lawyers.

Victim Services | Family Health Services Of East Central Ohio

Crisis Intervention, Information/Referral and Victim Advocacy are available free to any victims and their loved ones. Support groups for sexual assault victims and non-offending caregivers of sexually abused children are available periodically. Safe At Home Address Confidentiality program applications completed for victims of domestic violence, stalking, sexual violence and human trafficking. Sexual Violence is our primary focus, but any victim of any crime is welcome to use our services.

Domestic Violence Services | Jewish Family Service Association Of Cleveland

Provides assistance with establishing needs of and resources available to those affected by intimate partner violence. Includes assistance in getting and coordinating referral services, accompanying clients on appointments, and justice system advocacy. Also helps individuals navigate the social service, legal, medical, vocational, and welfare systems they might need in conjunction with their experiences of domestic abuse. Culturally specific services provided to individuals with Jewish background, immigrants, older adults, people with serious mental illness and disabilities, and the LGBTQ community.

Provides 24-hour emergency crisis service to survivors of sexual assault, rape, and trafficking. Services are also available to family and friends of the survivor. 24/7 Support Services include: - Crisis Intervention: Provides free crisis intervention, support, and safety planning in a face-to-face setting or through the 24-hour confidential and/or anonymous hotline. - Support and Advocacy: Provides a Client Advocate available on call to respond to requests for direct client care such as accompanying to the hospital, during a forensic medical exam, at the Police Department, or in court.

Family Justice Center | Cuyahoga County Public Safety & Justice Services

Provides a central point of intake for those who need services from multiple agencies that offer services for victims of violent crime. Goal is to help the victim avoid the extra stress of traveling to several locations for different types of assistance. Victim advocates help with protection orders, communication with the police or prosecutors, and access to counseling, among other supportive services.

Trauma Recovery Center (TRC) | Metrohealth Medical Center

Provides assistance dealing with trauma in a variety of ways. Ahimsa | Asian Services In Action

Provides culturally specific and trauma informed services to individuals experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, and/or human trafficking with a focus on the immigrant and refugee communities. Advocacy and legal services are available. Advocates may be able to help with crisis and long-term safety planning, counseling referrals, financial planning, support and referrals to shelter, case management, filing for a Civil Protection Order (CPO) and other services. Attorneys are available when applicable to meet with clients to discuss any legal concerns. If qualified, attorneys can help with a divorce, CPO representation, Marsy's Law, immigration, custody, etc. Program approach is assigning one advocate and one attorney to prevent the survivor from having to relive their trauma over and over again by telling multiple people the same story. Program also offers support groups for different ethnic communities and education/outreach to community members, service providers, and others. Service is not for those in immediate emergencies.
