Provide Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention services to Mahoning, Columbiana, Trumbull and Ashtabula Counties; 24/7 2-1-1 Information and Referral access for Columbiana, Mahoning, and Trumbull Counties and after hours for Ashtabula and Lake Counties; after hours link to various agencies in Mahoning, Columbiana, Trumbull and Ashtabula Counties; support groups for Survivors of Suicide; Senior Line; housing assistance and payee programs; Intensive Guardian Program; Recovery Services (Mahoning and Trumbull counties); Victim's Assistance; Community Center (Mahoning and Columbiana Counties); Special Navigator for Families with Special Needs.

Provides assistance to victims and witnesses of crimes through intervention, referrals to social service agencies, procuring compensation through appropriate state laws, and other related services.

Provides payment to eligible victims of violent crime for their unreimbursed economic losses.

Offers advocate services for victims of impaired driving. Services include clarifying the rights of victims, assisting in preparing Victim Impact Statements, and accompanying victims to court. Provides referrals to various community services. Provides assistance in applying for Ohio Victims of Crime Compensation Program.

2-1-1 screens calls; team member calls victim or hospital back. Rape Crisis worker will visit with victim in hospital if requested; able to attend police and court appearances with victim.

Provides payment to eligible victims of violent crime for their unreimbursed economic losses which may include: *Medical and related expenses. *Counseling for immediate family members of victims of homicide, sexual assault, or domestic violence. *Wages lost because of the crime. *Crime scene cleanup for personal security, such as doors and windows. *The cost to replace items taken as evidence. *The cost to replace items of clothing damaged as a result of medical treatment or assessment. *Reimbursement for hearing aids, eyeglasses or other vision aids, dental appliances, teeth or other dental aids, canes, walkers, wheelchairs, and other mobility equipment. *Lost wages and travel expenses for family members of a deceased victim to attend court proceedings. *Financial support for dependents of a deceased victim. *Funeral and burial expenses.

Provides the following support services to survivors of domestic and sexual assault: - Assistance navigating the legal and court systems. - Information about legal aid. - Accompaniment to court proceedings.

Homeless Outreach and Case Management, Rapid Re-housing, Emergency Assistance/Basic Needs, First Step Pregnancy Support, Limited transportation for Seniors, Social Work Counseling, HUD housing counseling including Foreclosure Prevention and Pre-purchase education, SSI/SSDI/SOAR Specialist, Prison Re-entry Case Management.

Provides direct support services to victims and survivors of human trafficking. Services include group therapy, art therapy, life skills, support groups, mentorship, referrals to needed human services, and developing effective work skills.

The Crime Victims Services Section provides several support services for victims of crime including: *SAFE Program - provides assistance for agencies to help solve sexual assault crimes. *Victims Assistance Unit - provides federal and state grants to local crime victim assistance programs. *Missing Children Clearinghouse Unit - maintains the missing children's database which lists children from Ohio that have been lost, abducted or have run away.

Provides support and information to victims of domestic violence who are pursuing legal remedies. Assists with protection orders and offers support at trials.

The chief prosecuting officer for the county is responsible for initiating charges and prosecuting people, including juveniles, who have been accused of felony and misdemeanor offenses; enforcing laws which require responsible people to support their dependents; and investigating allegations of major fraud, organized criminal activity and corruption as well as unlawful conduct by public officials.

Provides a central point of intake for those who need services from multiple agencies that offer services for victims of violent crime. Goal is to help the victim avoid the extra stress of traveling to several locations for different types of assistance. Victim advocates help with protection orders, communication with the police or prosecutors, and access to counseling, among other supportive services.

Provides legal advocacy, emotional support, and crisis intervention to victims and witnesses of a crime committed in Lake County. Answers calls from victims of domestic violence, sexual assult, robbery and other violent crimes.

Provides 24-hour emergency crisis service to survivors of sexual assault, rape and trafficking. Services are also available to family and friends of the survivor. 24/7 Support Services include: - Crisis Intervention: Provides free crisis intervention, support, and safety planning in a face-to-face setting or through the 24-hour confidential and/or anonymous hotline. - Support and Advocacy: Provides a Client Advocate available on call to respond to requests for direct client care such as accompanying to the hospital, during a forensic medical exam, at the Police Department, or in court.

Provide information to family members of victims of homicide and the public to help them cope as well as understand the justice system. The public can also leave tips of homicides that will be passed on to law enforcement.

Community psychiatric supportive treatment. Provides intensive case management to severely mentally disabled clients and provides after hours emergency crisis intervention for their clients. Behavioral health assessment, counseling and therapy, medication management.

Safe at Home (SAH) is an address confidentiality program for survivors of domestic violence, stalking, human trafficking, rape, and/or sexual battery. Individuals living in the same house as the survivor are also eligible for this program. The program is most effective if a participant has just moved or will move in the immediate future. State’s official crime lab. Provides criminal investigative services to local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies upon request. Can submit a law enforcement tip on BCI investigation, crystal meth leads, election fraud, environmental enforcement, marijuana leads, public corruption, sex offender leads, submit a missing persons tip, unsolved homicide tip, report Medicaid fraud, patient abuse or neglect.

Providing (VOCA) Victims of Crime Advocacy program, the (VOCA) assistant in area of court support, compensation claims, referrals, counseling and general crime victim assistance and victim advocacy services.

Dispatches police officers within Xenia to the scene of a crime in progress or a police emergency incident (call 911). Dispatches police officers to the scene of incidents where citizens need non emergency assistance Investigates crimes and reports of missings persons, fingerprints arrestees, and investigates incidents of alleged police misconduct.

Provides trauma recovery mental health services (counseling, therapy, and peer support) to victims of violence. Case management is provided to link the client to other community services as appropriate to their situation and needs. The case manager may also provide transportation to and from medical, court and legal appointments associated with recovery from the violent event. In some cases, temporary housing may be provided to clients who are receiving mental health services from this agency.

Provides support, assistance and legal education to survivors of rape, sexual assault or sexual abuse when survivors choose to prosecute the offenders. Explains the legal aspects of rape and assault (but does not give legal advice), facilitates communication between client and other parties such as police and the courts, helps clients write Victim Impact Statements, and assists with dealing with the Ohio Parole Board. Helps clients access programs for victims of crimes in the State of Ohio and makes referrals to lawyers.
