Parent (GUARDIAN) And Child Education (PACE) Program | New Directions - Domestic Abuse Shelter And Rape Crisis Center

PACE is New Directions Parent and Child Education program that addresses youth facing multiple risk factors, providing space for youth and parents to learn and grow together. The PACE program includes two tracks, one for the parent/caregiver and one for the youth where they learn about healthy relationships, digital respect and safety and risky behaviors.

Batterers Intervention Program | Lima Umadaop

Provides cognitive behavioral sessions that teach skills to cope with anger and misguided violence and to develop nonviolent alternatives for dealing with conflict. May be used to fulfill court requirements.

Family Drop-In Center - Counseling, Parenting, Anger Management | Beech Brook

Provides a variety of services to assist the community in increasing individual and family wellness, through general counseling, participating in anger management, domestic violence prevention, child abuse prevention, and parent education classes, and finding resources and referrals to needed social and community services. Counseling is by a Licensed Social Worker (LISW). Classes for teen parents and fathers may also be available. Parent Cafes held several times a year. Certificates of completion may be available.

Community Education And Prevention | Lorain County Safe Harbor

Offers programs for the general public and local schools to raise awareness of the problem of domestic violence. In school evidence-based prevention and education program offered for school staff and grades 7-12 on dating violence. Professional development seminars are held throughout the year on dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, and related topics. Men's Anti-violence Program is offered for male offenders of domestic violence.

Lake County Job And Family Services: Adult Protective Services | Lake County Job And Family Services Department

Provides protective services and investigates and intervenes on behalf of adults 60 years and older who are alleged to be abused, exploited, neglected, or self-neglected. Social workers meet with the client to assess the concerns and make referrals to community services. When necessary, pursues legal action to protect the victim.

Offers intervention and counseling in a group setting to those who exhibit abusive behavior toward their spouse or partner. Goal is to increase the abuser's ability to use healthy skills in relationships or conflict situations. Anger management is a component of this program. In cases where the individual is court-referred, this service may be issued in lieu of incarceration.
