Provides family therapy and parent education focused on helping the household to recover from past abuse, violence, or other traumatic events. Seeks also to prevent abuse within families who may be at risk due to a variety of stressors including: large family size, teenage single parenting, financial problems, drug problems, special needs children, etc. Teaches how to deal with child and parent anger issues, to handle conflicts and manage stress, to recognize cues from children and address their needs, to administer reward and punishment, and to build better communication among family members.

Educates teens on healthy relationships, boundary setting, and equips youth to identify signs of abuse. Directs to resources to address and prevent abuse. Call, text and chat support resources are available. and are operated by our specially trained team of experts to address teens’ questions or concerns about relationships and dating abuse. Also provides parents, guardians, educators and other trusted adults resources to support and talk to teens about healthy relationships and dating safety.

Provides prevention and education services for community groups, schools, businesses, and individuals in the community. Topics of programs include effects of substance use, domestic violence, safe dating, and other topics that promote positive mental health and wellness. Provides protective services and investigates and intervenes on behalf of adults 60 years and older who are alleged to be abused, exploited, neglected, or self-neglected. Social workers meet with the client to assess the concerns and make referrals to community services. When necessary, pursues legal action to protect the victim.
