The Hotline is toll-free, all calls to the Hotline are recorded, Caller ID is available and Language services are available. The Hotline receives calls for service from families and law-enforcement agencies calling to report a missing child and seek assistance in their search; people reporting the sighting of a missing child and requesting safety information to better protect their children.

Provides a hotline number to speak with an attorney and get advice on evictions; virtual clinics provided on Tuesdays at 4pm. can call in or join from computer to get general information on the eviction process or speak with an attorney; online toolkit walks renters through whatever stage of the eviction process they are in, helps them prepare for court, and provides template documents.

Provide Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention services to Mahoning, Columbiana, Trumbull and Ashtabula Counties; 24/7 2-1-1 Information and Referral access for Columbiana, Mahoning, and Trumbull Counties and after hours for Ashtabula and Lake Counties; after hours link to various agencies in Mahoning, Columbiana, Trumbull and Ashtabula Counties; support groups for Survivors of Suicide; Senior Line; housing assistance and payee programs; Intensive Guardian Program; Recovery Services (Mahoning and Trumbull counties); Victim's Assistance; Community Center (Mahoning and Columbiana Counties); Special Navigator for Families with Special Needs.

Provides enforcement of all laws and ordinances, preventing crimes, investigating criminal activity, apprehending, arresting, and detaining suspects, presenting evidence, regulating traffic, investigating traffic accidents, and engaging in other activities that protect lives and property and preserve peace.

Provides a service for individuals to locate a detainee who is currently in ICE custody or who has been in U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s custody for more than 48 hours.

Provides police services for Oakwood Village. Includes community policing, where assigned officers cover the area by motorcycle, maintaining contact with residents and checking for any problems. Provides fingerprinting for employment purposes (onk only). Accepts crime reports. Records information on missing persons, follows up on them weekly, and pursues further if needed. Maintains and provides access to police reports on cases which are not still active or pending in the courts. Upon request, conducts preliminary testing of unknown substances using a field testing kit. Questionable substances will then be further analyzed by the State Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI).

Provides confidential crisis and advocacy services to victims of crimes occurring in Eastlake. Provides immediate crisis intervention to victims at the police station, hospital, or at the scene.

Provides no-cost training to schools, businesses, and community members on how to recognize and prevent power-based personal, domestic, and/or partner violence and abuse.

Offers fire protection services, emergency medical services, fire inspection, smoke alarms for low-income families, carbon monoxide testing, fire prevention education, and general safety information. Also provides a juvenile firesetters program.

Provides a legal education and information program for high school students who are interested in the criminal justice system. Participants also attend court trials.

Provides rape crisis services including a 24-hour hotline, advocacy for both teenagers and adults during legal proceedings, short-term crisis intervention, support groups, referrals for counseling, and community education on bystander intervention. Services for victims of human trafficking are also available. All services are confidential.

Program provides dinner, information on health, crime prevention, and youth employment services to nurture youth toward academic and life success.

Provides program for Brown County residents to file health complaints concerning rental housing, restaurants, and public nuisances such as septic system failures and uncontrolled trash. Filed complaints are investigated by Public Health Inspectors.

Counsels, mediates, and advocates on behalf of Muslims and other Arabs who have experienced discrimination, defamation, or hate crimes. Works to protect and defend the constitutional rights of Muslims in America.

Provides general crime prevention information/education for the Village of Bratenahl. Will perform security checks and security evaluations on request.

Provides methods that the public can use to report to cases of suspected fraud involving claimants, employers, insurance company officials, officials of third-party administrators, insurance agents, lawyers, health care providers, and vocational rehabilitation providers who have lied to obtain a benefit through the Workers Compensation program or to prevent a benefit from being awarded.

SMP staff and volunteers educate and empower Ohio Medicare beneficiaries to recognize, avoid and report suspected Medicare fraud, waste and abuse.

Provides 24 hour support to address the needs of victims of violent crime (such as rape, incest, domestic violence, assault, stalking, drunk driving, hate crimes, and so forth). Trained advocates provide information and referrals, support, and education. Work to treat survivors fairly and with respect when accessing all services.

Provides a variety of non-credit classes that teach new skills or enhance skills already known, generally for personal interest only. Typical offerings might include gardening, physical fitness, cooking, arts and crafts, tai chi, yoga, photography, and instruction in sports.

Provides a free, anonymous, computer based service that immediately notifies registered users upon a change in an offender's status (release, transfer etc.). Computer generated notification calls will be made anytime there is a change in status and continues every half-hour for 24 hours (or leaves a message on answering machine every two hours) until client enters an identification number. In some cases, a notification letter will be sent. Has information about state prisons, some county jails, and some juvenile facilities. Does not maintain municipal information. Will also provide just the location and status of an offender.

Provides information and speakers on crime prevention topics such as bicycle safety, shoplifting prevention, and school safety. Maintains a neighborhood watch program. Upon request, will perform vacation security checks for residents and security evaluations for businesses.

Provides a hotline to report to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) that an individual's identity may have been stolen. Identity may have been stolen if an individual receives a letter from the IRS, or learns from a tax professional, one of the following: - The individual filed more than one tax return or someone has already filed using the individual's information. - The individual has a balance due, refund offset, or has had collection actions taken against the individual for a year the individual did not file. - The individual received wages from an employer he/she has not worked for.

Accepts allegations of fraud, waste, mismanagement or abuse concerning programs of the department. Programs include Medicare, Medicaid, Head Start, Services for Native Americans, health care equipment providers, institutional health caregivers, and grant and contracts. Also accepts reports of suspected crimes by federal department employees or contractors.
