Provides formal supervision and support for of adults who have been released from jail, prison or other confinement under the supervision of a parole officer.

Provides a residential in-house treatment program serving criminal justice involved individuals, some of whom are eligible for early release from prison due to judicial release, and/or have substance abuse disorder. Services include: * Case management * Group and individual counseling * Substance abuse counseling * Job-readiness training and skill development * Referrals to community resources

Provides an alternative to prosecution for adult offenders. Holds the offender accountable for their actions and assists them in learning new ways to deal with the issues that lead to their offense.

Supervises youth on parole in the northern half of the state. Juvenile Parole Officers (JPOs) and other parole staff work with youth and their families to provide the guidance necessary for youth to become positive, contributing members of society.

Provides supervision services to those placed on parole (release from prison before sentence expires), post-release control (supervision after sentence is over and individual is released from prison) and in certain areas where probation services are lacking or minimal, community control (sentence imposed by court in lieu of incarceration).

Supervises and monitors any order of the court, which may include alcohol/drug treatment, AA meetings, drug testing, community service, restitution and psychological counseling.

Works with youth and their families to make sure they are in compliance with all court orders. Juveniles personally sign documentation outlining probation rules; are subject to drug screenings; and are required to make mandated evening office visits the first Tuesday of every month accompanied by their legal guardian for a probation review. In addition, probation officers often check in with youth at school and/or at home.

Provides a probation supervision program that utilizes trained professionals to monitor convicted offenders who are placed on community supervision through the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas; probation officers connect offenders to services within the community to reduce the overall likelihood of recidivism

Provides pre- and post-sentence investigations and reports to the courts on adult criminal offenders

Handles cases dealing with juvenile offenders who have a severe mental illness. Provides assessment and links individual to appropriate treatment. Case managers work with the individual, school, home, and treatment provider. Open hearings are held weekly to assess individual cases and hearings become less frequent with compliance to the program's rules. After completion of the program, charges are dropped from youth's record.

Provides parole supervision for youth who have been released from department facility. Services include enforcing rules of parole, involvement of youth in activities that create an awareness of the consequences of their behavior, developing competency in youth that enable them to be more capable of productive participation in society, and monitoring graduated sanctions if parole is violated.

Provides a structured living environment for offenders with severe mental disabilities. Mental health services are provided by Portage Path Behavioral Mental Health Center or Community Support Services.

Also supervises persons in the work release and home detention programs.

Provides supportive services for individuals younger than age 18 who have committed a minor offense and are directed to participate in a diversion program as an alternative to arrest, prosecution or, in some cases, sentencing for the offense. Assesses the individual's needs and coordinates the delivery of the necessary services.

Provides a Substance Abuse Treatment Court (SATC) to utilize court services to identify non-violent male and female felony offenders with substance abuse problems and offer immediate and individualized treatment services to rehabilitate these individuals, ultimately decreasing criminal activity within the community and the need for imprisonment. SATC is a highly structured program that focuses on responsibility and accountability.

Provides 10 week classes for teens and parents to combat behavioral issues. Classes are taken simultaneously but not together.

Provides supervision of youth ages 10 to 17 years old and are placed on court-ordered probation.

Responsible for the release and supervision of adult felony inmates returning to local communities from prison, as well as assisting Courts of Common Pleas with sentencing and supervision duties for felony offenders. It is comprised of the Parole Board and Field Services. The Authority maintains regional offices in Akron, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, and Lima.

Oversees all persons placed on probation as the result of criminal and/or traffic convictions. Defendants may also be evaluated for one of the Court's Specialized Dockets: Recovery Court or Mental Health Court.

Monitors and enforces the terms of probation as set forth by the Municipal Court Judge.
