This program targets accountability and thinking errors and is designed to include education, assessment, and group therapy to help the offender towards accepting responsibility for the offense. This program is designed for non-violent sexual offenders and address victim empathy, family of origin issues, remorse, social competence skills, life skills and interpersonal relationship management.

General Counseling Services
Provides formal supervision of individuals who have been convicted of a crime and given a suspended sentence which releases them into the community under specific conditions which may include a reduced term in county jail, fines, restitution to the victim, community work, counseling, "good conduct," and other stipulations.
Provides a Substance Abuse Treatment Court (SATC) to utilize court services to identify non-violent male and female felony offenders with substance abuse problems and offer immediate and individualized treatment services to rehabilitate these individuals, ultimately decreasing criminal activity within the community and the need for imprisonment. SATC is a highly structured program that focuses on responsibility and accountability.

Intensive Supervision of Offenders
Arranges placements for adult offenders who have been court ordered to perform community service. Monitors the placements and provides documentation to the court.
Provides mediation services to help individuals discuss and resolve issues that may result in an alternative solution to filing a complaint in juvenile court for status offenses (truancy, curfew, runaway, unruly), conflicts and minor delinquent offenses.
Responsible for the release and supervision of adult felony inmates returning to local communities from prison, as well as assisting Courts of Common Pleas with sentencing and supervision duties for felony offenders. It is comprised of the Parole Board and Field Services. The Authority maintains regional offices in Akron, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, and Lima.
Provides formal supervision for those awaiting trial or on community control (probation) as ordered by the court. Supervises probationers and monitors compliance to the conditions of their probation as well as providing other services such as referrals for social services. Provides specialized probation services for those needing intensive supervision such as those with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and sex offenders. Places offenders into drug treatment when needed. Provides case management for those in drug treatment and acts as a liaison between the court, client, and treatment facility. Licking County Adult Court Services Department is to assure public safety by supervising offenders placed on community control for felony crimes as well as supervising people awaiting Court actions for criminal indictments. Specialized services include Chemical Dependency Supervision, Sexual Offender Supervision, Mental Health Supervision, Diversion, Basic Supervision, Community Transition Supervision, and Child Support Enforcement supervision. The Licking County Adult Court Services Department assures public safety through effective correctional interventions utilizing cutting edge proven supervision methods.

Provides a program for first-time alcohol offenders who are arrested in Ottawa Hills; the emphasis is on intervention and education rather than punishment; it is an opportunity for youth to learn from their mistakes and to reduce the risk of future drug-related problems.

Supervises offenders who remain in the community under the jurisdiction of the Elyria Municipal Court. Conducts pre-sentence investigations to assist the judges in the determination of appropriate sentences. Administers alternative sentencing programs to supplement traditional penalties including voluntary community service. Oversees restitution to victims of crimes.
