Provides administration, enforcement of, and information about the paid leave provisions of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) for eligible workers. Under this law, workers may be eligible for up to two weeks or 80 hours of paid sick leave at the employee's regular rate or the minimum wage (whichever is higher) if certain scenarios apply. Additional weeks of paid leave at less than 100% of employee salary may also be available if employees meet certain criteria.

Covered nonexempt workers are entitled to a minimum wage of not less than $5.15 an hour. Overtime pay at a rate of not less than one and one-half times the regular rate of pay is required after 40 hours of work in a workweek.

Works to inform workers who have any type of pension of their rights under the law that governs pensions offered by United States-based employers. Also handles complaints from plan participants. Documents available (which should also be provided by employers to employees) include individual plan descriptions, forms filed by individual plans annually with the government, and statements of individual benefits accrued to date of request. Defined benefit plans are insured through the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC), which also provides information on those types of plans.
