Re: Cycle Bike Program: If employed and lack transportation, will provide a bike for individual to get to and from work. Showers and Hygiene: Hot showers and personal hygiene products available. Provides assistance with vehicle repairs (not to exceed $1,000 in a 24-month period); gasoline vouchers ($50 per month limit and maximum of $200 in 12-month period); Driver's License reinstatement (once per lifetime - must not be due to DUI or child support); Automobile insurance (up to four (4) months - no cap - once in a lifetime).

This program can also assist with paying for one birth certificate for each person in the household, driver's license, and daycare registration, but assistance is limited. Examples of infant and safety items that can be provided include the following: - Bathtubs. - Cribs. - Cabinet locks and drawer locks. - First Aid Kit. - Outlet plugs. - Scalding detector. - Diapers, wipes, and formula. NOTE: This program is provided through a partnership with Summit County Job and Family Services.

Works directly with voters to ensure they have the ID they need to cast a ballot that counts. - Scheduling appointments and covering cost to obtain personal documents (such as Social Security card, proof of residence, birth certificate, name change records, naturalization certificate) needed to obtain an ID that is suitable for voting (state photo ID or driver's license). - Arranging and paying for transportation to their local ID-issuing office (DMV or Social Security office). - Answering questions about their state’s voter ID laws. - Providing pro bono legal assistance with certain document issues. NOTE: This service was intended to assist individuals with obtaining documents needed to vote, but now serves any citizen in obtaining documents (such as Social Security card, proof of residence, birth certificate, name change records, naturalization certificate) if needed for housing.

Relocation Assistance: Will assist with relocation expenses if the client must move for employment purposes. Relocation expenses for employment out of county or out of state only.

Assistance available includes: Employment related expenses such as: -Vehicle repairs. - Driver's license fees (new or expired, does not include reinstatement). - Reimbursements for tools, equipment, uniforms, shoes/boots, and so forth. - Fingerprinting costs. - Gas vouchers for new employment (until receipt of first paycheck). Shelter/Housing expenses such as: - Rent or deposit for forestalling court-ordered evictions in rentals. - Bills to forestall utility shutoffs (gas, electric and water). - Fuel oil and propane purposes. - Emergency shelter due to fire, natural disaster, states of emergency, or domestic violence situations. Kinship assistance includes: - For a new kinship caregiver within six (6) months of a child moving into the home: Furniture and other items needs to care for children in the home. - Once a child(ren) has been with a kinship provider for more than six (6) months: There is an available reimbursement of child care costs up to four (4) months a year.

Provides aid to families in the form of a voucher to buy items or pay for services that are emergencies and non-recurring and which cannot be addressed using existing community resources. Assistance is provided only for items that are essential for the applicant's employment, job training, or education such as: car repairs, car payments, or car insurance payments; car down payment; work clothing and uniforms; and tools and safety equipment. Also will help pay for professional testing/certification and licensing fees, identification materials (i.e. driver's license, state identification, birth certificates), driver's education, and other items as deemed appropriate by the agency. Transportation to work provided through the most cost effective means. A budget will need to be completed and watching a one hour financial literacy video may be required.
