Assistance is provided only for items that are essential for the applicant's employment, job training, or education such as car repairs, car payments, or car insurance payments; car down payment; work clothing and uniforms; and tools and safety equipment. Also will help pay for professional testing/certification and licensing fees, identification materials (driver's license, state identification, birth certificates), driver's education, and other items as deemed appropriate by the agency. Transportation to work provided through the most cost effective means. A budget will need to be completed and watching a one hour financial literacy video may be required.
