Disciplinary Counsel | Ohio Supreme Court

Reviews complaints, referred to as "grievances," from the public, judges, and other attorneys to determine whether there is evidence of unethical conduct. This office has no jurisdiction to become involved in the merits of any case. If such evidence exists, investigates the allegations of misconduct and, when appropriate, files formal disciplinary charges against the attorney or judicial officer for violating the ethical rules. The attorney disciplinary process will not affect or change court decisions made in the client's case.
