Job and Family Services may have funding available through the PRC program to help clients obtain employment related needs and services such as equipment/tools, work clothes, shoes, gas, bus passes, etc. Assistance through the PRC program can be granted up to $2,000 in a 12-month period when funding allows. The PRC program is not a cash payment and not ongoing financial support.

Provides a community tool shed with equipment, tools, and supplies to individual residents residing in census tracts 6, 7, and 16 in the City of Mansfield who are interested in completing beautification and clean-up projects at their residences.
The Prevention, Retention, and Contingency (PRC) program assists with employment related services such as work tools/equipment. Items must be needed to gain or retain employment of at least 32 hours per week.
The PRC program in Ohio helps families overcome immediate barriers to achieving or maintaining self-sufficiency. The program provides benefits and services to families who are in need of help with essential support to become self-sufficient. The PRC Program is designed to: - Prevent families from having to apply for OWF cash assistance when a crisis arises; - Help families retain employment by enhancing job skills , overcoming barriers and providing short-term assistance or wage supplementation if necessary. - Provide for contingent needs by helping families with nonrecurring urgent problems that could, if left unattended, result in families needing long-term public assistance. - Support families receiving OWF with services to enable them to become self-sufficient. Examples of short-term assistance through PRC include: - Shelter and utility assistance - Transportation assistance - Employment Related Supportive Services.
