MVFD is collecting fans that will be distributed by ISS for individuals in need.

Provides comprehensive prenatal care and post-partum care to Medicaid-eligible patients, including the support of an on-staff social worker. Programs available for patients to earn free crib and other baby supplies.

Provides a large variety of donated items, including household items, clothing, shoes, and personal hygiene items.

Program provided by Ohio Department of Development through LEADS is designed to help qualified households pay for summer cooling. This program applies to electric utilities only and is available from June 1 through Aug. 31 and provides: One-time payment assistance of up to $175. You do not have to be enrolled in PIPP to be eligible for the Summer Crisis Program. You do not need a disconnection notice to be eligible for the program. An additional benefit can also be given for households with a member who has a medical condition that would benefit from an air conditioner: One air conditioning unit per household (for households that have not received an air conditioning unit in the last 3 years). For assistance with an air conditioner, household must have a member with a breathing problem and a prescription from a doctor certifying the condition.

Provides care necessities to agencies and hospitals serving premature, ill or impoverished newborns.

Provides a free store where shoppers can browse for clothing, linens, kitchenware (pots, pans, silverware, plates), as well as personal care items. Variety and availability of items will vary based on what has been donated.

Provides vouchers to assist with past due house/apartment/mobile home lot rent payments, mortgage payment (will help with first month's rent but not security deposits - $1,000 maximum per 12 month period); utility bill payment assistance (including gas, electric, bulk fuel water - $500 maximum per 12 month period). May also assist with the purchase or repair of major appliances ($750 maximum per calendar year). May assist with the purchase of bed frame, box springs, mattress, cribs and child beds ($500 maximum in 12 month period). Provides up to $2000 in moving expenses in certain cases (once per lifetime). In some cases may be able to help with home repair services (generally, only enough to cover a small repair). May consider assisting with other housing related needs at the discretion of the agency. Does not assist with PIPP Plus payments.

Pantry may have personal care items for grooming and cleaning available. Call first to verify availability. *Only one adult may shop for the family, no children are allowed in the shopping area *Clients may visit the pantry once a week

Offers second hand furniture, small appliances, clothing, toys, and other material goods at lower than retail prices. Will accept furniture and small appliances that are in working order. Also they will pick-up furniture and small appliances in the Dayton area.

Provides items that assist new and expecting parents in caring for their new family member. The bundle includes a choice of two: Boppy pillow, highchair, booster seat, portable crib, car seat, breastfeeding support kit, or safe sleep kit. Also provides up to $75 worth of diapers and up to $30 in organic baby food coupons.

Provides aid to families in the form of a voucher to buy items or pay for emergency services related to establishing a household (coming out of homelessness or moving into a new unit) and which cannot be addressed using existing community resources. MAY BE USED FOR: stoves and refrigerators (maximum $200); baby furniture; children's beds/mattresses; general furniture (limited to: couch, love seat, living room chairs, kitchen table, bedroom dresser (up to $125); washer and/or dryer (only if integral to the applicant's employment); and microwave oven (maximum of $400 per item), and children's clothing (up to $150 per child). MAY NOT BE USED FOR: entertainment furniture (such as a TV or a radio), mortgage payments. YEARLY CASH LIMITS: $1,500 total during the calendar year (may be $750 for certain non-custodial parents).

Personal care pantry that assists people experiencing financial needs with hygiene items, toiletries, cleaning essentials, and baby supplies. Also provides information on other community resources.

Bedding and sheets are available.

Provides used clothing and furniture (such as tables, beds, and chairs) to those in need. Items are provided through donations to the agency. If the agency does not have the needed items on hand, they work with a local thrift store (Neighborhood Relief) to arrange service for the client. Availability is dependent on what the salvation Army and the local thrift store have on hand. Due to this, service is not always guaranteed.

Provides utility bill assistance, central air repairs, or air conditioning units or fans to eligible households.

Provides household goods, some furniture, small appliances, kitchenware and other household goods to individuals who have completed addiction treatment or are transitioning from sober living housing. Items are new to gently used.

Provides a limited number of air conditioners that will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Those who have received air conditioners from Community Action in the last three (3) years are not eligible this year.

Offers a food pantry and fresh produce from the church's community garden. Provides limited assistance with personal hygiene items and cleaning products.

Provides assistance with material needs for moms and dads and caregivers who could use a helping hand as they provide for their little ones. A supplies boutique stocked with gently used and new baby items. Items supplied are diapers, wipes, clothing, formula, car seats, and cribs.

Income eligible participant homes inspected and serviced for health, safety and energy saving measures.

The Gleaning Place offers gently used furniture.

Provides new items that can be used to set up a kitchen, bathroom and cleaning closet in a home or school dorm room. Items may include kitchen dishware, dining flatware, kitchen utensils, pots and pans, bath mats, towels, waste baskets, shower curtains, bedding, pillows, comforters, sheets, brooms, buckets, detergents, ironing boards, irons, microwaves, shampoo, soaps, toothpaste, and religious items.

Educates parents and caregivers on the importance of practicing safe sleep or infants, and provides a free portable crib to families who, otherwise cannot afford a safe place for their babies to sleep.

Provides a pantry of personal care products, hygiene items, and cleaning supplies. Items available generally include: - Toilet paper. - Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and soap. - Deodorant, toothpaste, and toothbrushes. - Laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, paper towels, and garbage bags.
