Provides clothing for individuals and families in need. Also provides blankets, towels, silverware, dishes, and very small appliances such as mixers and toasters. Available items depend on what has been donated and is on hand at any given time.

Offers infant and baby food (no formula), clothes up to 2T, diapers up to size 6 as available. Also when available, may provide baby items including strollers, swings, pack and plays, car seats, etc.

Provides utility bill assistance, central air repairs, or air conditioning units or fans to eligible households.

Provides eligible families with concrete-safety related support items up to $200. This could include the following: Full size cribs, toddler beds, mattresses, strollers, convertible high-chairs, temporal thermometers, baby monitors, baby gates, childproofing home safety kits, and smoke/carbon monoxide alarms. Includes infant and child safety education on various topics, such as infant safe sleep guidelines, in-home safety recommendations and car seat best-practice training.

Depending on our rotating inventory, gently used beds, couches, recliners, tables & chairs, microwave stands, dressers, bookshelves, and other items may be available. We do NOT have appliances available.

Low cost building materials/supplies, used furniture, and appliances available based on donations received.

The Home Energy Assistance Summer Crisis Program (HEAP Summer Crisis Program), assists eligible applicants with an air conditioner and/or central air conditioner repairs one time every three years to prevent undue health risks during the summer season to those who qualify, from July 1st - August 1st only. Provide nutrition education and supplemental food for women, infants and children who are determined to be a nutritional risk. Provides supplemental foods such as milk, eggs, cheese, fruit juices, etc. at no cost to participants.

There are a variety of items available at no cost through the Health Department. Families do have to be eligible and there is a limit to how much they can receive, but if anyone is in need of the following items, they can ask for the WIC department for more information. - Safety gates - High chairs - Pack-n-plays - Safety locks for cabinets, etc. - Outlet covers - Mesh guard rail covers - Door knob locks - Lights.

Provides clothing and household items.

Provides a 2-3-week supply of non-perishable food. If available, will also provide personal grooming supplies and cleaning supplies such as soap, toothpaste, and detergent.

Provides financial assistance for individuals and families who are currently homeless including rental assistance, deposits for security and utilities, emergency supplies of food, clothing, furniture, appliances, and other housing start-up items.

An Aspire Ministries partner church provides cleaning supplies for individuals and families coming from homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters, and similar situations.

Offers low-cost new and gently used building items for home improvement or construction. Items offered vary depending on what has been donated and may include the following: - Bathtubs and faucets. - Cabinets and vanities. - Doors and doorbells. - Fireplace mantels. - Flooring. - Lighting fixtures. - Windows. - May also have furniture items such as tables, chairs, and lamps. Occasionally offers large appliances for resale. All items for sale have been donated from individuals and businesses. NOTE: Items cannot be returned.

Women’s Center–Dayton offers abortion alternatives including free pregnancy tests and ultrasound scans to those who qualify. Free and confidential consultations are provided to clients who are pregnant so can understand options: adoption, abortion, or parenting. Program provides a 24 hour helpline, free pregnancy test and assistance, free ultrasound, post-abortion support, information about abortion alternatives and mentoring services. Material assistance: free infant formula and diapers, baby and infant equipment. Quantities and ability to earn material assistance are determined by agency.

Provides low-cost, gently-used, clean furniture to families and individuals in need. Also accepts donations of furniture and household items. * At this time (Jun 2024) low stock of household items.

Provides aid to families in the form of a voucher to buy items or pay for services that are emergencies and non-recurring and which cannot be addressed using existing community resources. Provides assistance with utilities (water, gas, propane and electric payments, deposits, and reconnect fees), rent or mortgage payments (no rental deposits), and appliances (stoves and refrigerators only). Maximum amount of assistance given is at the agency's discretion. All approved clients will create a budget plan with a caseworker and are required to watch an hour-long video about financial literacy.

J.J.'s provides home furnishings and household items to families leaving the shelter for a home of their own, victims of domestic violence, and victims of flood or fire.
