To receive assistance, households served by a state-regulated utility must also sign up for a payment plan, such as the Percentage of Income Utility Plan (PIPP). The appointment must be at least 48 hours before the scheduled disconnection and the utility account number must have been entered. - Customers are only allowed one (1) disconnection hold for an assistance appointment per Winter Crisis Program (WCP) season. - Rescheduling or missing appointment removes the hold and possibly triggers loss of service.

The London City Fire Department provides 24/7 fire services and prevention

Provides home repairs and rehabilitations for income eligible homeowners. Repairs may include plumbing, electrical, roof, gutters, furnace, ADA modifications, water heater, electric panel and other health and safety needs. The Home Repair Program provides no-cost upgrades and fixes for qualified homeowners. This grant-funded program requires no repayment by the homeowner. The Home Rehabilitation Program offers more extensive repairs and upgrades for homes. Assistance will be in the form of a declining-forgivable loan. There is no monthly payment, and no interest will be charged. No credit check is needed. 100% of the amount borrowed will be forgiven over (5) years provided owner continues to own and occupy the home. NOTE: Funding varies from year to year and might not always be available.

Provides a care package to any guest needing it on a monthly basis. Care packages generally contain items such as deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrush, soap, shampoo, and other personal care/personal hygiene items.

Comprehensive preschool program. Prepare children from ages 3 to 5 with the skills that will help them in kindergarten. Transportation, health, nutrition services and services to children with special needs. Various locations in Warren, Fowler, Hubbard, Kinsman, Newton Falls, Niles and Cortland.

Offers low-cost new and gently used building items for home improvement or construction. Items offered vary depending on what has been donated and may include the following: - Bathtubs and faucets. - Cabinets and vanities. - Doors and doorbells. - Fireplace mantels. - Flooring. - Lighting fixtures. - Windows. - May also have furniture items such as tables, chairs, and lamps. Occasionally offers large appliances for resale. All items for sale have been donated from individuals and businesses. NOTE: Items cannot be returned.

G.O. Community Development Corporation will host a small household appliance distribution. Items will include toasters, heaters, keurig, humidifiers and bedding to name a few. This distribution will be an on-going weekly event.

Provides assistance with paying for repair or purchase of appliances, personal expenses (clothing, child restraint seats, diapers, toiletries, and so forth), home furnishings (beds, mattress and box springs, kitchen table, chairs, and so forth). Provides assistance with paying for treatment, relocation, and education due to infestation of pest(s) including but not limited to bed bugs, fleas, rodents, roaches. Maximum amount of assistance will vary depending on what is needed.

First Church, through Casey's Cupboard, has a supply of fans to give away, while quantities last, to individuals that are in need.

Supplies contractors who make necessary home modifications valued up to $8,000 for income-eligible homeowners or renters to provide a lead-safe environment for children. Loans out a vacuum cleaner equipped to capture lead swept up in the cleaner. Maintains a list of properties that have been abated for lead and made safe.

Meets the needs of those unprepared for pregnancy with pregnancy testing, limited ultrasound, mentoring, parenting education, baby furniture, and clothing.

Incentive-based program where clients can earn new baby clothing (ages birth to 2T) and maternity clothing. Gift cards may be available to pregnant women who become clients and who stay with the organization through the last 5 months of their pregnancy. Supplies are limited. Ongoing clients may also receive assistance with formula and diapers. Offers life skills classes for parents.

Services provided through contracted agencies. Service provided depends on the assessment of the property.

Sells donated gently used and new clothing and household goods such as kitchenware, linens, and small appliances for individuals and families in need. Items are priced pennies on the dollar.

May have furniture items and bedding and linen items available at the free store. Items are limited to whatever is donated and is given out on a first come, first serve basis.
