Program provides training to help persons with disabilities gain skills that would enable them to live more independently.

Develops and maintains housing in an integrated setting for individuals with developmental disabilities. Owns numerous residential homes in 14 Ohio Counties including Summit, Portage, Medina, Tuscarawas, and Jefferson counties. Equips all homes with fire alarm systems and carbon monoxide detectors installed prior to occupancy as well as basic kitchen appliances and washers and dryers that are maintained by the agency.

Provides a residential facility that combines housing and supportive services in a "homelike" environment with the goal of maximizing the individual functioning and autonomy of residents.

Provides nurturing, safe custodial care for adults who require placement outside of their families. The primary reason for placement in adult foster care is the need for care and protection. The role of the foster parent is that of caregiver and nurturer.

The Hamilton Assisted Living facility allows the resident to remain independent with the security that daily help is available. The home-like atmosphere is very conducive to visits with family, friends and developing new friendships with residents.

Community psychiatric supportive treatment. Provides intensive case management to severely mentally disabled clients and provides after hours emergency crisis intervention for their clients. Behavioral health assessment, counseling and therapy, medication management.

Offers a 300 bed nursing care and retirement community for older adults and the chronically ill. Offers several distinct levels and units of nursing care including: skilled nursing services, independent living, a rehabilitation unit, and two Alzheimer's units.

Assisted Living community assists residents with activities of daily living and basic care support in a homelike or apartment setting. Trained caregivers provide attention and assistance with medication management, bathing, dressing and cooking 24-hours a day. In addition, staff will coordinate services with outside healthcare providers and monitor residents to ensure they are healthy. CDS owns several houses in the community which are rented to to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Provides accessible, affordable housing designed to allow people with mobility impairments (primarily head-of-household) to live independently. Children are permitted to live with the applicant.

Program is open to adult males diagnosed as DD, who have significant behavioral health needs. Programs and services offered include: individualized intensive treatment with an emphasis on accountability and responsibility. Each resident receives active treatment and is regularly evaluated by a Treatment Team of medical, clinical and administrative professionals.
