Habitat’s ReStore is a facility that supports the services provided by Habitat for Humanity of Fairfield County. The ReStore resells overstocked, discontinued, new and used building materials donated by manufacturers, stores, contractors and individuals. These donated items are sold to the public. The income generated from the project goes specifically toward expanding the building program of Habitat
Offers a discount home improvement store that accepts and re-sells new and reusable home improvement building materials. The store is open to the public and revenue from sales directly offsets the administrative costs of Habitat for Humanity-Greater Columbus. Habitat’s ReStore supports the mission of eliminating substandard housing and creating homeownership in Central Ohio. Individuals, stores, businesses, general contractors, home remodeling contractors, and others regularly donate new and reusable materials from home remodeling projects, new overstock inventory, samples, scratch and dent items, and much more. We also remove and salvage materials from buildings being demolished. These materials are sold to the public at approximately 50% off retail prices.

Occasionally offers large appliances for resale. All items for sale have been donated from individuals and businesses. NOTE: Items cannot be returned.

Habitat MidOhio ReStores play an important role in the effort to combat the affordable housing challenge in Central Ohio. Donations are sold and the proceeds help to offset most of Habitat MidOhio’s administrative costs — so cash contributions go directly toward building homes and revitalizing communities. Volunteers and donations are also needed. Locations: ReStore Westerville Road (3140 Westerville Rd. Columbus OH, 43224); ReStore Bethel Road (2555 Bethel Road, Columbus, OH 43220); and ReStore Newark (1660 N 21st Street, Newark, OH 43055).
