Homeless Drop In Centers | Community Support Services

Provides a drop in center with coffee, laundry, hot showers, and telephone for individuals experiencing homelessness. Offers various engagement and social services to individuals who are currently homeless and have a mental health or substance abuse diagnosis. Will assess any individual who is homeless and connect them to agencies that best meets the individual's needs.

Offers classroom space for life skills training, Bible studies, and group meetings.

Drop in center located at 274 Front Street, Marietta. Services offered include: - Laundry needs done in the center. - Clothing needs free of charge. - Hygiene products. - Obtaining state ID. - Obtaining social security cards. - Obtaining birth certificates. - Showers daily when open. - Locating affordable housing. - They assist folks with completing various types of applications. - Mail may be received at our address for those who have no address. - Tents, sleeping bags and blankets are distributed to those in need. - Numerous referrals are made to various social services for associated needs.

Drop In Centers | Holy Trinity Lutheran Church - Newark

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church will be open for those who wish to drop in, sit for a few hours, recharge phones and socialize. Guests will be supplied a sack lunch, coffee and snacks. The church has been added as a stop on the Licking County Transit bus schedule. Current Resources Include: - A nurse with the Free Community Clinic. - A community nurse from The Freedom Center. - A Licking Memorial Hospital nurse. - Family Health Services of East Central Ohio. - BHP Mobile Care Now Mobile Clinic. - Health Departments Mobile Unit. - Several addiction services. - A Veterans Administration representative. - Free monthly haircuts. - Drawn to Art (a creative arts program). - A representative from Southeastern Ohio Legal Services.

Day Shelter for the homeless they can come in to get showers, do a load of laundry and receive lunch. Free Breakfast is opened to anyone for a free meal. Offer furniture and clothing bank by appointment only. Also offer Sunday lunch meal. Emergency shelter only in the winter time from December till February for overnight stay but they have to leave in the morning.
