The Soteria House is open to all victims of domestic violence and sexual assault of any gender or race, from any city, county or state. It provides temporary housing where victims/survivors and their children have a safe place to live, heal, recover and thrive. Undisclosed location site.

Program is a one-time financial assistance that covers rent, interim income adjustment, 40% of income payment arrangements, and is for (CMHA owned housing communities only); Program provides assistance in the form of Housing Choice Vouchers (formerly called Section 8) that enable income-eligible families to find and lease approved privately owned housing where the landlord has agreed to rent under the program. Applicants will be entered into a lottery to receive a voucher.

Provides transitional shelter for homeless women who are recuperating from an illness or injury. Offers a facility with private rooms, ongoing medical supervision, medication management, meals, and coordination with local health care providers. Residents also receive intensive case management that includes submitting housing applications, benefits review, assistance to file for SSDI and to resolve barriers to self-sufficiency, healthcare enrollment, and rent/utility assistance. Provides on-sight substance abuse/mental health assessment and treatment, support groups, and transportation to and from any needed medical or housing appointments.

The Marion Metropolitan Housing Authority releases applications for Section 8 Housing Vouchers from the office on the first Thursday of each month from 9am-11am.

Health assessments and assistance with; bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and Alzheimer needs. Our nurses have regular communication with all physicians. The routine services for all residents of Emeritus At HillenVale include: A private single suite 24 hour security and monitoring Paid utiilities (gas, electric, water, and basic cable service) Three daily meals and snacks Activities, social functions Full laundry, housekeeping services, and suite maintenance Private suites with carpet, full bath, kitchenette, individual heat and air conditioning controls, window treatments, a personal wall safe, and cable TV. Multiple suite options are also offered.

Offers down payment and closing cost assistance to first-time home buyers who are purchasing within the City of Lima. Prospective homeowners can earn up to $10,000 towards down payment closing costs. Client will participate in mandatory home ownership classes. Homeowners who remain in their homes for 5 years can have their $10,000 loan totally forgiven.

HOPE is a partnership between Zepf Center and Neighborhood Properties Inc. (NPI). The organizations are utilizing its expertise in recovery wellness and housing supports to provide a variety of services and resources that assist families and individuals attain stable housing while improving their quality of life. This project will serve individuals who are homeless and meet the following targeted group: • Families with children, with one member of the family having a mental health and/or substance abuse challenge • Homeless veterans and their families who have a mental health and/or substance abuse challenge • Single individuals who are identified as homeless who have a mental health and/or substance abuse challenge

Del-Mor Dwellings provides housing opportunities for individuals with psychiatric disabilities.

Provides a HUD-funded program that assists very low-income families with rental payments; families find their own place to live and the Housing Authority enters into a contract with the landlord/owner and with the applicant/tenant to provide rental assistance to the landlord on behalf of the tenant; mortgage assistance for eligible participants may be available.

Provides safe, confidential shelter and services to victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse and their children in Pickaway County and offers crisis intervention, case management, legal advocacy, referrals, support groups, individual counseling and more. All services are free and confidential.

Provides classes and individual counseling on budgeting, credit, mortgage loans, predatory lending, and home purchase preparation, including separate review of documents.

The emergency assistance program may help with rent assistance as a last resort. The assistance may not be immediate.

Provides a warming and cooling center in lobby during regular business hours.

Coordinated effort to identify, assess and find appropriate options for homeless individuals and families seeking housing or related services, and/or for those at imminent risk of becoming homeless. Services will assess and make referrals to available programs. Emergency housing is not available (only through Samaritan House if there are openings).

Provides transitional housing and supportive services for homeless families with the goal of helping them live independently and transition into permanent housing. The facility can accommodate up to four (4) families with a total of 12 to 15 people.

Luther community offers studio and one-bedroom units, rent based on income, utilities included in rent, with easy access for individuals living with mobility impairments.

Provides sssistance with rental assistance for those with an eviction notice

Offers a HUD certified home buyer education program that consists of eight hours of classroom education. Classes are held in the evening and on the weekend. One-on-one counseling is available. Topics covered include: Budgeting and credit, loan products, home inspection and the closing process.

Offers privately owned rental housing that is made available to low-income households at reduced rates based on a contract between HUD or the state housing authority and the property owner.

Thrift store offers clothing, household items, linens and kitchen wares at low and is open to the public for shopping. Also has a food pantry and emergency financial assistance. Clients need agency referral for free clothing services.

Weatherization program can do an energy audit, insulation, inspection of heating units with repair/replacement and check for safety issues in the home.

Three levels of assisted living care are offered and an assessment is provided at intake to determine what level of care is needed. Incontinence and memory care also available. Transportation to medical appointments is available.

Community psychiatric supportive treatment. Provides intensive case management to severely mentally disabled clients and provides after hours emergency crisis intervention for their clients. Behavioral health assessment, counseling and therapy, medication management.

Offers housing developments that are owned and managed by the local housing authority and rented to income and program eligible individuals and families, including older adults and people with disabilities. The units are governed by federal regulations which determine the application process, eligibility requirements, and tenant payment and lease obligations.
