Catholic Social Services and Muskingum County Center for Seniors are working with various area businesses and groups to provide holiday "Baskets of Love" to homebound seniors. To brighten one of these seniors' holiday season, we are asking that you place selected items in a small clothes basket or reusable canvas shopping bag. We ask that all items be dropped off at the Center by December 12th so that they can be delivered to the seniors' homes by December 19th. The following list details examples of items that are encouraged to be donated: - Blankets - Shampoo / Conditioner - Bath & Hand Towels / Washcloths - Soap / Body Wash - Playing Cards - Disinfectant Wipes - Gripper Pens - Laundry Supplies - Lined Stationary - Paper Towels - Postage Stamps - Tissues - Envelopes - Toilet Paper - Large Print Puzzle Books - Personal Hygiene Products - Assorted Greeting Cards - First-Aid Supplies - Lap Trays - Cups with Lids - Socks - Hand Sanitizer.

Congregate meal sites are open to anyone 60 years of age or older and his or her spouse, regardless of age. Anyone under 60 who volunteers a minimum of two hours during site hours is eligible. Anyone with disabilities that resides at home with and accompanies an older (60+) person is eligible.
