Seasonal program for older adults open from May - October that issues ten $5 coupons that may be redeemed for eligible foods during the growing season at participating farmers' markets. Eligible foods include locally grown, fresh vegetables, fresh cut herbs, fruits, and honey.

The Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) provides income-eligible senior citizens with special coupons worth $50 to enjoy locally grown fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs and honey. Funding is limited and coupons are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Each person will receive a total of ten $5 coupons. Coupons may only be redeemed by authorized participating farmers who sell produce at farmers’ markets or roadside stands.

In some cases, may assist with indigent burial. Assistance is in the form of vouchers. Amount of assistance is based on demonstrated need. Also available to make community presentations about these services.

Individuals 60+, provides $50.00 in coupons for purchase of fresh fruits and vegetables from participating farmers. Coupons can be redeemed for fresh, unprepared, locally sourced fruits, vegetables, herbs and honey from farmers’ markets.
