Boxes include shelf-stable milk, starches, cans of vegetables and beans, cheese, and a five (5) pound bag of produce. Pickup available at Oberlin Community Services. Limited delivery also available depending on location.
Provides needs assessment, information, socialization opportunities, and referrals to community resources for senior citizens.

Commodities are delivered to the center every 3rd Tuesday of each month. Commodities come in a box filled with kitchen staples. The items vary by month but are guaranteed to help low income seniors who have a hard time shopping or buying food.
Federal USDA food program provided through ODJFS, Mid-Ohio Food Bank and Station Break for income eligible seniors age 60 and over, residing in Knox County.
Provides support services to existing nonprofits/community organizations for emergency food pantries. Warehouse acquires and distributes wholesale and donated food to food pantries. Not a food pantry. THIS IS FOR MOBILE FARMERS MARKET REFERRALS

Commodity Food Boxes are available for eligible individuals. Each client is responsible to pick up their box of food or arrange for someone to pick it for them. It is important that you not miss two months in a row without contacting our office; you may be dropped from the program.
The senior box is a 40-50 lb. box of food received only once monthly. It is for ages 60 and older. The U.S. Dept. of Agriculture has established income guideline based on 130% of current Federal Poverty Guidelines.

The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) provides food boxes once a month to nutritionally at-risk, income eligible participants. CSFP food boxes are packed at the Southeast Ohio Food Bank then delivered to local distribution sites once a month. Participants can then pick-up their food boxes at a local location.
Center of Hope is a community service center and food hub. The Bladensburg location houses MidOhio Market, which is a free grocery market and operates as a food distribution hub for mobile programs that operate in rural Ohio. Center of Hope also provides holistic supports for individuals, including chaplain services, health/wellness programming, senior services and more. We also operate a limited number of deliveries to homebound seniors.
