Provides a variety of educational programs to promote public awareness of Alzheimer's disease, including general information, impact on families, community resources, research directions. -Education and training for families and professionals caring for someone with Alzheimer's disease, including managing difficult behaviors, communication, legal, ethical dilemmas. -Assists with conferences; supplementary videotapes and materials available. -Speaks to civic, community, and senior groups, religious organizations, health care professionals and paraprofessionals, clergy and chaplains, police, fire, and EMS personnel.
