Underage Alcohol Diversion Program | Stow Municipal Court

Serves as a community-based program that provides educational services or other prescribed social services for adults who have been arrested for underage drinking. Successful completion of the program generally prevents fines, court costs, jail time, and a permanent criminal record of the offense.

Plead guilty at arraignment and complete intake at probation. Must be approved by the prosecutor.

Eligibility

- Serves adults age 18 to 20 charged with underage drinking. Must be a first offender with no prior felony convictions, no drug convictions, no alcohol-related convictions and no prior serious misdemeanor convictions. Must not currently be in or have completed a diversion program. - Must not have benefited from a prior sealing. - Must not have any other pending cases.
