Housing Assistance Grant Program | Corporation For Ohio Appalachian Development
Provides grants to assist homeowners with home repairs. The following repairs may be eligible for the program: --Building envelope structural repairs, including the roof, floors, ceiling, walls and foundation; --Roofing repair and/or replacement; --Gutter repair and /or replacement as well as other moisture mitigation work; --Heating system repair and/or replacement; --Plumbing repair and/or replacement; --Septic system repair and/or replacement; --Electrical upgrades, repair or replacement; --Interior/exterior repairs and alterations to allow handicapped mobility and accessibility, such as kitchen and bathroom modifications, ramps, handrails, and grab bars. Repairs are provided by contractors hired by COAD.

Eligibility
Serves Ross County residents who own and occupy single family dwellings in need of basic repairs. Taxes must be current. Must be eligible for or have received service within the past year from any of the following programs: Columbia Gas of Ohio WarmChoice, Home Weatherization Assistance Program, or a USDA Rural Development 504 loan or grant.
