Schools As Neighborhood Resources (SANR) - Summer Program | Neighborhood Leadership Institute
Provides recreational, physical fitness, arts, and structured educational programming for residents, using neighborhood school facilities. Programs may include use of gymnasium, swimming pool, track, instruction in sports, instrumental music, arts and crafts, tutoring in academic subjects, games, drill teams, and leadership development classes for youth. Participants typically help to determine programming for each site. Programs are often staffed by school personnel. Lunch is provided for youth.

Summer program is 8 weeks and typically begins the 3rd Monday in June through the 2nd Friday in August: M-F: 12:00noon-4:00pm.

Application process
Walk in during summer program M-Th: 9:00am-5:00pm; Friday: 9:00am-3:00pm. Must register at first visit. Parent can bring child to first visit and sign paperwork, or child must return signed permission when attending program.

Eligibility
Serves residents of Cuyahoga County, although program is targeted to residents of Cleveland and close suburbs, particularly those who do not have access to personal, social, and/or recreational developmental opportunities in safe, structured environments supervised by qualified adults. Some programs serve youth only. Some programs are only for ages 18 and older.
