Patients that have a qualifying blood cancer diagnosis. Must have a household income that is less than 600% of federal poverty level.

Funds come and go frequently for this service. Phone for status of funds or visit website to check and submit an application if available. Patients cannot receive travel assistance both locally and nationally.

Description

Provides patients with a one time financial assistance for travel expenses related to their blood cancer diagnosis and treatment. Funds are subject to availability. Those who qualify will receive $500, once within a 6 month period, to cover the cost of treatment-related travel and lodging expenses for the patient and caregiver including: ground transportation; tolls; gas; parking; car rental; car maintenance, repairs and parts; air transportation; baggage fees; lodging; and ambulance services.
