Children and their families receive services from specially trained child abuse professionals. Our multidisciplinary team (MDT) facilitates a comprehensive, well defined, cooperative process that not only results in a more successful investigation and prosecution, but more importantly, provides a better and less traumatic response to the child and their family members. A multidisciplinary team responding to child abuse allegations includes representation from the following: Law enforcement Child protective services Prosecution Mental health Medical Victim advocacy CAC staff
