Must homeless and reside in Cuyahoga County. If the family does not meet eligibility for Income Eligible Child Care Assistance, the family may be eligible for Homeless Care. The child care subsidy is paid regardless of their income. Subsidy is available until the child is age 13 yrs. (or 18 yrs. for a special needs child) or until the protective case plan is terminated. Serves families with children who lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence; which may include: 1. Children sharing the housing of other persons due to loss of housing, economic hardship, or a similar reason; are living in motels, hotels, trailer parks, or camping grounds due to the lack of alternative adequate accommodations; are living in emergency or transitional shelters; or are abandoned in hospitals 2. Children who have a primary nighttime residence that is a public or private place not designed for or ordinarily used as a regular sleeping accommodation, such as a car, bus station, or park 3. Migratory children
