<p>Applicants must make a spay/neuter appointment for their pet(s) with the vet of their choice and confirm that the vet will accept a voucher prior to applying. Voucher applications must be submitted at least 10 working days prior to the scheduled appointment. Applications may be submitted <a href="https://bchsohio.org/snap-voucher-program/" target="_blank" rel="noopener" class="underline text-blue-700">online</a>, by mail, email, or fax. A separate application must be submitted for each pet.</p>

<p>No fee to apply. Voucher(s) provided will likely cover only a portion of the spay/neuter surgery cost. Pet owners are responsible for any additional expenses associated with their pets' office visit and surgery that is not covered by the voucher.</p>

<p>Open to residents of Brown County who: <ul> <li>are currently receiving any type of income assistance (WIC, Medicaid, SSI, SNAP, SSDI, Unemployment, or TANF/Ohio Works First) <strong>or </strong></li> <li>have an annual household income at or below $29,000</li> </ul>
