PROPERTYCHECK | KNOX COUNTY - GOVERNMENT OFFICES

Recorder's office offers a free service to help protect Knox County residents from potential property and mortgage fraud. The service is an opt-in program called PropertyCheck. The service works 24/7 and allows residents to sign up for notifications of recordings on their property by activating email or text message alerts based on their name, property address or parcel number. The Recorder’s office does not charge Knox County residents a fee to sign up for and use the service. Assistance is available for those who wish to sign up. This service eliminates the time associated with doing a search on your name or property by instead alerting the resident when a document has been recorded that matches the alerts that they have activated.
