Adult protective services investigates reports of elder abuse, neglect, or exploitation.Anyone who suspects that elder abuse may be occurring can call the statewide toll-free referral number 24 hours a day, 365 days a year: (855) OHIO-APS ((855) 644-6277). Staff are available 24/7 to take your call and record any relevant information you can provide about the situation. They'll work with local support services to check in on the individual and make sure they have the support and resources they need.
