Baby And Mommy Support (BAMS) | Step Forward
Provides case management for pregnant women, infant care, and parenting education. Services include one-on-one consultation and training, life skills, sharing circles, wellness workshops and special guest speakers and vendors. Topics include how to care for your baby, nutrition and wellness, self-care, how to cope with stress, breastfeeding, postpartum depression and more. Family Development Specialists will work closely with the moms to assess their needs and provide case management services. Dads will also be encouraged to participate in the program. Moms that require additional support can be referred to Parenting classes and will receive assistance from a social work assistant or social worker. In addition to support and resources, moms will be referred to Early and Head Start programs.

Application process
Call M-F: 8:00am-5:00pm to make an appointment for intake. A medical exam will be required for admission. There is a waiting list for this program. No walk-ins. Clients must wear masks, and will have their temperature taken upon arrival.

Eligibility
Open to pregnant mothers, and to children ages 6 weeks through 18 months at intake. Must live in Cuyahoga County with a family income up to 125% of the federal poverty level.
