Must be a resident of the State of Ohio to receive a library card. Primarily serves residents of the Barberton City School District area.

Required documents

- Library Card Application (for those aged 16 years and older): completed application, photo ID, and proof of current address. - Juvenile Library Card Application (for children birth through 15 years of age or 16-18 who does not have photo ID): completed application with the signature of a parent or guardian who presents photo ID and proof of current address. - Access cards (any adult or child who does not have the required documentation for a standard card): no documentation required.

Barberton Public Library is a member of the CLEVNET cooperative, a resource-sharing partnership of more than 40 public library systems in northern Ohio. Offers specialized programs for adults and youth.
