Vital Statistics houses certificates of birth and death occurring in Marion County from 1908 to the present. We can also produce birth certificates from other counties in Ohio. Currently, death certificates are only issued by the county where the death occurred.

Fee
$25 fee for certified copies. Marion Public Health will accept cash, money order, or cashier’s check made payable to Marion Public Health. We also accept debit and credit cards. The credit card processing agent will apply a minimum fee of $2.50. Will NOT accept personal checks for the purchase of a birth or death certificate.
