Nami Basics | Nami Franklin County
Education program for parents and other caregivers of children and adolescents living with mental illnesses. Taught by trained teachers who are the parents or other caregivers of individuals who developed the symptoms of mental illness prior to the age of 13. Consists of six 3-hour classes and includes basic information necessary to take care of the child, family and caregivers; coping skills; and tools for the parent/caregiver to use after completing the program.
