Head Start services are for qualifying families at 100% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines or below, or receiving SNAP/OWF/TANF cash assistance, SSI disability, or foster families.

- Free Head Start Preschool. - Children must be 3 by August 1 - Children turning 3 after August 1 may enroll after their 3rd birthday - Income Eligibility Applies - IEP Children Served - Hours from 8:15am-11:45am or 12:15pm-3:45pm Tuesday through Friday - Serving a portion of Mount Vernon - Nutritious breakfast and lunch or lunch & snack - Medical, Dental, Hearing, Vision Screenings - Family Services - Monthly Parent/Family Events - Field Trips - Formal Kindergarten Transition Plan.
