Horvitz Youthability Program | Jewish Family Service Association Of Cleveland
Provides individualized volunteer placement for eligible youth who want to develop job skills, explore possible future careers, gain self-confidence, and provide a valuable service to the agency of placement. Placements include libraries, museums, hospitals, animal shelters, restaurants, and grooming salons. Group Volunteer Experiences projects are designed to give members a positive connection to the community and allow them to feel like community heroes. Program may include annual trips to do volunteer activities with other organizations in the United States and internationally.

Phone for information any time. Phone messages will be returned. Staff will call back and provide a phone screening. An in-person interview will be scheduled if appropriate. Subsequent volunteer scheduling will be between volunteer and agency where volunteering. Parent/guardian involvement is required.

Eligibility
Serves ages 14-26 who have a physical, emotional or developmental disability or who are at-risk. Volunteers who might assist this population may be any age. Empowerment Opportunities ongoing group projects require a higher level of commitment for participants.
