Cuyahoga County residents age 30 and older (ages 20 and older if on Medicaid), who are either homebound or disabled. Homebound is defined as those who are unable to leave home to get food. May receive service twice a week. Must be eligible for public benefits such as food stamps or Medicaid. Three days' worth of meals are provided.
Days may vary, but service is offered twice a week.

Phone M-F: 10:00am-4:00pm for intake or leave a message that will be returned (generally, in 2-3 days). May also email with contact information. Those who have not received a callback should continue to contact the organization during office hours. There is usually a waiting list. May fax proof of income to the office or give a copy to driver when first food delivery arrives.

Fees are covered by Medicaid or SNAP/food stamps.

Description

Provides fresh meals designed to accommodate the health needs of those who need home-delivered meals. Meal types include traditional, diabetic, gluten-free, renal, cardiac, pescatarian (fish/seafood-based), vegetarian, and low sodium. Most meals are prepared only using safflower oil or olive oil. Participants can get lunch or dinner delivered.
